@golfinggerbils Do not say this: The dutch carillon player from Maastricht and first violinist of the Andre Rieu orchestra escaped that the Westminster chimes are Cross signs. So you are blessed every time the chimes ring. Sleep well under a tower with these chimes. But you are right ; a real carillon is much nicer. See them on You tube. Look for Bach Passacaglia on carillon

the chime barrel plays three verses at 9AM, Noon, 3, 6 and 9 PM every day.
The tune changes each day and the tunes are;
Home, sweet home
The minstrel boy
The Warwickshire lads and lasses (Fridays)
The Easter hymn (Sundays)
The bluebells of Scotland
There's nae luck aboot the hoose
Thaxted (the tune for "I vow to thee my country")

sounded like highland laddie played 3 x over !! I WIN
Beautifull; I was here long time ago in 1980 I think. Never knew about this carillon in Warwick. I saw the castle and this beautifull church. About your carillon: if you buy some extra small bells like York Cathedral did, you have a complete carillon in the tower to enjoy the inhabitants of Warwick every day.
Why doesn't this barrel play chords? It is still impressing.

@Carillonnl
About chords.... they are something that I have never seen (or heard) from an English chime barrel.
I think that this is because English chime barrels are mostly on 8 or 10 bells, so that chords are not really possible and if they were used the tune would just sound messy and not very distinct. Also, the bells of Warwick are from 3 different dates... even though they have been tuned as a set in 1901, chords would not sound very good on them!!
