MISSISSIPPI TO BUILD THE BORDER FENCE

Senator Fillingane (Hattiesburg) will be introducing legislation this January on behalf of the Mississippi Patriots group that will fund the border fence. It will be funded by remittance fees from people unlawfully present in our country and in cooperation with other States. This unprecedented step will get the border fence built by the States after more than 24 years of waiting for Washington DC to make good on the 1986 Amnesty Act that they passed into law.

State Legislators from all over the country support this proactive approach to pool their resources for the benefit of the rest of the country's taxpayers. If only half the States participate, we could raise $1.2 billion annually for the fence with an average remittance fee of 5%. People who live in States that cannot get the legislation passed will be able to donate money to the fence as well. Arizona will be the first State where the border fence project will start. Once that is completed, we will go on State by State until the entire border is protected. The Mississippi Patriots welcome other States to join us in support of the border States. Some legislators who would rather spend the money for other illegal immigration charges, are putting their finger in a dam that has burst while their town is under water. There is no end in sight to illegal immigration.

Our States are the victims of violent crime, drugs, crushing school and hospital budgets, identity theft, fraud, and unemployment. It is time for Americans to take on the responsibility of protecting themselves and for Legislators to stop the finger pointing. Personal responsibility is what made this country great.

Mississippi is a State least able to withstand unabated massive illegal immigration. The 50 States are loosing remittances of $45.9 billion annually in sales taxes on products and services that normally would be purchased in our communities. In addition Mississippi taxpayers spend an estimated minimum of $106 million dollars a year providing services to illegal aliens. The drain on our poor State will only continue to get worse.

The Mississippi Patriots is a conservative group focused on defending conservative values, the rule of law and the Constitution by taking action. You can find them on facebook.

The Border Fence Fund Act will be submitted to the Judiciary A Committee that Senator Fillingane Chairs. W. Briggs Hopson III Vice-Chairman (Warren Yazoo)
The other members are Sidney Albritton (Pearl River Marion); Terry C. Burton (Lauderdale); Kelvin E. Butler (Pike); Tommy Dickerson (George); Hillman Terome Frazier (Hinds); Jack Gordon (Grenada Lee); Dean Kirby (Rankin); Chris McDaniel (Jones); Walter Michel (Hinds Madison); T. O. Moffatt (Jackson); Michael Watson (Jackson); Lee Yancey (Madison Rankin).
The Judiciary A committee discussions are open to the public.

The US taxpayers and businesses loose $45.9 billion annually on products and services when illegal aliens send money outside of the country (remittances)

Remittances from MS are $99 million annually.

The US spends $113 billion annually on K-12, emergency medical care, incarcerations, public assistance and general expenditures. ($84 billion from the States and Local level; $29 billion from the Federal government)

MS spends $106 million on K-12, emergency medical care and incarceration.

  • If we have bigger problems, why aren't you working on them? What are you doing here wasting time?

  • I had to delete some vulgar comments here. I really don't like name calling either.

Do not make suggestions of hurting anyone, period, or I will delete your comments.

Stay focused on the fence and whether you like the idea or not.

I really shouldn't be moderating this but these comments are getting too much.

  • @VernonKrudlik People are either Democrats or Republicans, NOT Democratic & Republican, because that would be an adjective. More people watch FOX News that MSNBC, and I listen occasionlly to see opposing views, but can't take it for long. You sir are the misinformed one. I suppose you are for Open Borders, then YOU can pay for all the costs of Illegals. With Reagan's "one-time" Amnesty, the enforcement measures were never really used. I suppose $4 or $5 gass will be Bush's faul

  • @cpz9999

There is no such thing as "the Democrat party" Your use of that term only serves to illustrate your "ditto head" inability to think for yourself. Obama has deported more illegals that Bush. Reagan is the one who gave amnesty. Fences don't work.

The rest of your claims I won't go through because they are more repub lies and are simply catalogue of your ignorance. Here's my advice to you, stop watching Faux Spews and listening to Mush Limbig, they are lying to you.

  • Vernon, Ruben Flores was the person I was responding to, but besides some Republicans, it is the Democrat Party that pushes Amnesty, refuses to enforce all our "immigration" LAWS, won't construct the "approved" border fence, opposes E-verify, & sues States that are protecting it's Citizens. Some Democrats want the cheap labor as well, & even Unions are for Amnesty, why, I don't know. Arrogant & being a know it all is also no way to go through life, and I am neither fat, drunk,or

  • Space limits the ability to fully illustrate on the profound depths of ignorance you've articulated in 1 paragraph. 1 The post you're responding to is over 7 months old. 2 Who in the world is ruben flores? 3 I'm a US citizen, my concerns are with laws exporting jobs, then blaming the poor for trying to make a living. Last, repub states are petitioning the fed for exemptions on immigration laws so they can exploit cheap labor.

“Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son.”

  • @VernonKrudlik , hey ruben flores, The United States has LEGAL Migrant workers, so what you say is BS, we can have (seasonal) migrant workers that are (documented), and return back home, not stay in the US and take our jobs, health care & schools, and commit crimes! So give us a break and if you are here ILLEGALLY, go back home and respect our LAWS!

  • I agree, if they are here illegally, they are criminals... take their stuff, send them and their entire family back to where they came from. Not just from mexico, but illegals from every country. If they are not paying taxes, they are not helping us they are hurting us. Don't let them apply for assistance without a social security number... that will stop it all...Sell their property and build the fence, build it tall and build it strong, and electrify it....without all the voltage available.

  • @vzproductions a year later and that fence has not moved, sounds like a government failure to me!
