so let me see if i'm understanding this right.... you supposedly spent 4k on your "best on youtube" sound system but you were too cheap to pay for a professional install?  haha ok. So why wouldnt you just spend 3k on the system and then you could've afforded the install. Better yet, why didn't you just pay $1k for a sound system/install (which would sound exactly the same), and then spend the other 3k on headers and exhaust? Shit, remind me to never let you handle my finances.

@1993CorvetteUSA LOL I here that buddy, I was young at the time I guess,, but since this video, ive done a total over haul of the car, new engine opti spark, alternator water pump, radiator, transmission, and many more upgrades that and old vette requires, new ,and better sound system, professionally installed this time, now all I have to do is upgrade my rims, and tires, and get a new paint job, then I will make another cocky ass YouTube video, but this time every thing will be on point

one word, nakamichi son, learn what it means... not bad for do it yerself, that screen looks more like 7" than 17", maybe that's why your gurl made that dissappointed face... 160 gigs? so you can play the same 5 songs, that sound exactly the same over and over.. next time, call it "best sound system on c4 corvette, that's sitting in my driveway while I shoot this video" then you won't get so much hate. nice system, far from the best. :)

@makomanna Nakamichi?, did u say that 2 mean thats the brand i should have?,nah ill pass, im into sony, rockford fosgate,pioneer,brands i have lined up already 4 my next sound system,same music over n over?, n u were able 2 tell this because of this 1 vid?, buddy, I have a music archive of 5K songs, n read all the comments, there not all hate, but either way i dont give a FK, oh yea, n buddy, u better FKN belive its the best in a C4 on youtube, check around, watch other ppls vids, . ^_^

@xflygrl2 budget.... kenwood deck, polk speakers, planet audio amp(great budget amps) and a sub of you're choosing(i recommend a used boston or JL for SQ or a type R or kicker if you don't care how it sounds)

don't get me wrong boss is good cheap amps... JVC is utter garbage though....

I have to hate on your install bro, but thats a CHEAP ass amp that'll only muster 600rms on a good day and them are entry level Coustic subwoofers. if you paid 4 GRAND for them subs you need to go kill the guy who ripped you off 3,500 dollars. shits barely worth 400 tops.

It is great to hear all of the enthusiasts chime in. It sounds like we have some experts here both on the car and on the systems. I appreciate that he has taken his car and tried to improve it. Pride in your ride is what I think really matters. Any suggestions on a low budget improvement system for a novice with a C4?

I wanna do a sound system in my c5 (also RED). Good ish man my first car had hella expensive stuff but my cousin and I hooked it up install was garb fools didn't want none.
