Demi: oh, my god! Nick, he has a camera!
Demi slapped him across the face, angrily.
Nick: wha-
Demi: What are you doing?! Get out there and tell him to delete the picture.
Then, Nick mumbled something to Demi before getting out of the car and walking towards the guy.
The photographer: hey, its Nick Jonas! how ya doin, man? the names Steve. So, you and your brothers share girlfriends? *he smiles*
Nick: actually, no, we dont, i was just- Can you just delete the picture and we'll pretend this little thing never happened, okay?
Steve: Sorry, Jonas. If i turn this picture in, this could cost a fortune.
Nick: C'mon, man, dont be like that now.
Steve: i need the money. Good luck explaining this to your bro!
Nick: i'll pay you to erase it.
Steve: Sorry. I was just doing my job.
Then, he took off; running to his car, getting in and driving away while Nick stood there yelling. When, he gave up, he went back tot he car and got in, ready to face Demi. But, luckily, Demi didnt say anything. She just ignored him altogether, not even looking at him. He could tell she was furious with him. When they pulled up into the driveway, she saw Kevin's car and knew they were home and he would be questioning her. She got out of the car and started up the steps, and when she was about to go in, Nick grabbed her arm and spun her around to face him.
Demi: What?!
Nick: im sorry,
Demi: you promised no kissing.
Nick: i know, but it-
Demi: i swear, if that picture shows up in the magazines for everyone to read, i'll-
Then, the door opened and there stood Joe with a half bitten sandwich in his hand. His eyes followed Nick's arm which was still holding Demi's.
Demi: *she nudges his arm off and puts on a smile* Hi babe.
Demi went to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek..then went inside. Joe followed her into the kitchen where she went to get a drink of water.
Joe: So, where've you been?
Demi: oh, me and Nick went to see a movie then we went to get something to eat.
Joe: What movie did you see?
Demi: BandSlam.
Joe: was it good?
Demi: definetley.
Joe: Well, the kids are napping right now.
Demi: really?
Joe: yeah. So, ummm, i was wondering if we could go out for a bit.
Demi: Just me and you? *she smiles*
Joe: yeah, i guess.
Demi: okay. i'll go get ready.
Joe: no, what you're wearing is fine.
Demi: okay.
Joe went to get their jackets and helped Demi get into hers. As they leave, Demi took one last look at Nick then turned to take Joe's hand. That made it Nick harder because of his feelings for her, they grew stronger. Then, they left and went to the mall together. Being with Joe made Demi erase what was going on in her head, what had happened today with Nick and everything.
_-4 Days Later -
Demi was grocery shopping with Adam in the store cart. As she is going down each aisle, looking for things they could want, she stops at the magazine section. On exactly 4 magazines, there she was...kissing Nick. She took one of those magazines and skimmed through till she got to the story, the headline was, "Jo Bros share girlfriends?" She looked to see what it said and put the mag. back & took the second and the headline was, "Demi cheats on Joe with lil' Bro!". The thrid headline read, "Nick & Demi betray lovers", the fourth read, "Demi caught kissing Nick after being engaged to Joe!". Demi's palms were getting sweaty and she caught tears streaming down her cheeks so she wiped them off. She put all four magazines back on the shelf and prayed that Joe hasnt seen them yet. On the cover, was an enlarged picture of Nick & Demi that Joe was sure not to miss. She wondered how she would explain this all. She hoped Nick would cover for her. What if he wanted the ring back? How would Selena feel? She was her best friend! Then, came the fans..what would they think of her. God, there was soo much. She paid for everything then went to the car, loaded it and put Adam in. She drove home and went in with Adam and the groceries. She put the groceries in the right places and left Adam in the play area to play with Rosie. She asked Kevin where Joe was and said that he was upstairs. So, she went up and into their room, hoping he didnt know so she could explain everything first. When she went in, there were four magazines spread out on the bed and Joe was reading one, it was flipped to the page where the headline read, "Demi cheats on Joe with lil' Bro!". When Joe looked up at her, she saw the look in his eyes. She knew that look, he was either mad/disappointed/sad or just confused. She opened her mouth to say something but Joe interuppted her and pointed to the magazines.
Joe: WHAT IS THIS?!
And she knew now that he was mad, maybe even furious with her....
