Hey guys do you know why 3steps to open the onigiri (triangle)? There is actually plastic cover between the rice and nori, so they don't stick together and nori doesn't get moist. when you pull and open the packet, you pull the plastic cover between them at the same time ( in step 2,3), so you can eat onigiri with fresh and crunchy nori!!

doesn't taste good for you, well that's because your not an asian, most western food doesn't sit well with asians too, scientist said it was something about our genes and also some are just acquired tastes. I love onigiri.

My coworker eats that stuff. Have you ever seen the movie "Silence of the Lambs"? Onigiri reminds me of the pod (I think it was a moth cocoon) that they pulled from the dead girls throat. I remind her of this every time I see her eating it. I don't think she appreciates my observation.
