These are photos from an Open House/Fund Raiser held in the summer of 2004 at the Back To The Wild wildlife rehabilitation center in Castalia, Ohio. Featured that year was a visit and talk by Dick Goddard, renowned FOX 8 TV weatherman and animal advocate.
Open houses at Back To The Wild typically include wildlife presentations by the center's staff with the center's permanent residents. These permanent residents have become injured to the point where they cannot survive on their own in the wild. They serve a purpose in helping to educate the public.
