alice ripley is just... well, i don't know what to say. there aren't a single word in the entire world to describe her. she just... takes my breath away. and my god, how beautiful she is.
and somehow her being on the view makes me really happy.

kinda annoys me that she describes it as uplifting. does she know anything about this show?

uplifting is the wrong word here, i agree, but the show does have moments of both ends of the emotional spectrum. it reminds me of brantley's review for the new york times when he says that next to normal is a "feel everything musical"... meaning that the emotions run the gamut from uplifting to depressing.
