Piano Black Finish! - Towering 8 Foot Tall Towers Update 15 - In the Paint Booth!

An update to yesterdays video. The SMD Towers are finally got a coat of black paint! They should be ready tomorrow! I plan on installing the speakers this weekend so subscribe and stay tuned!

See the previous 14 video's to understand how this all came to be!

the system consists of: 2 crown xti 4000's (bass) and 2 crown 2000w amps..... The Towers EACH will have (8) 7" Ascendant Audio Carbon mids, (4) Morel Tweeters and 1 Ascendant Audio SMD 18" woofer. There is 2 18" Passive radiators in each tower to reinforce the LOW LOWS!

Everything is all Actively crossed over, no passives at all. I use a DBX drive-rack for that.....

@sheiry1 its a body shop that specializes in oversized projects like firetrucks, rv's, busses etc. They do everything there from the bigger vehicles like that all the way to smaller cars like the Lexus's, audi's and others. They do it all and they are one of the best ive seen. Totally state of the art booth too.

@BassFIow i do CAD drawings for a commercial roofing company - i draw Architectural roof plans, details etc. I dont want to work in car audio as far as a stereo shop is concerned, screw that, im having fun just leaving it a hobby and having a website. ;) I do work all day at my real job (of 20yrs) and this comes after i get off work....so im probably twice as busy as people think i already am lol.

Hey Steve, do you know how they sealed the wood prior to spraying any of the paint? I always wondered how to seal mdf, lots of filler primer ?? Lol
