Born and bred in Sidmouth and very proud of it. In fact my family dates back to ca. 1250 in Sidmouth. Unfortunately I have not been back in 30 years. What a wonderful corner of traditional values in a mad, mad, mad world.

sidmouth is a complete dump and full of old people. i have nothing against old people but in sidmouth most of them are moody.

i spent many vacations in Sidmouth back in the early - late 70's and hold the greatest memories of this lovely little town. We always stayed at the great Westcliff hotel. Longing to go back! great memories. Looks like nothing changed.

Used to go to Sidmouth on hols with my parents over many years..know the place well and love it on a sunny summers day (not so much when it's raining..lol). Seems a pretty unique place to me in England, and one day would love to live there.......just don't go changing it.

i went there yesterday there was a folk festival! i am learning harp and play bohran well. made me want to move there as i am exploring the area.

is there a folk scene there? and what about art?
