This clip is from a segment of the short-lived Pat Sajak Show which aired nightly on CBS. Here, Pat takes a break from hosting and visits one of the first taping sessions of the daytime version of Wheel of Fortune which had just then moved into CBS Television City after being based out of NBC's Burbank Studios for years.

If you're curious: Pat's sidekick is none other than well known Nashville anchorman Dan Miller.

  • @WheelFan96 It's understandable, but it's all good

No hard feelings, just thought that I point that out, I would just like to call it Studio 33 rather than the Bob Barker Studios

  • @tnawcwvictoria Well, this actually was back when it was called Studio 33. Sorry for any inconvenience.

  • Sure do miss Charlie O. Actually miss Bob Goen too, he was a really good host, but never seemed to find a vehicle that fit. Wheel was good with him but so cheapened down, and by the early 90s, daytime network game shows were becoming extinct :(

  • @WheelFan96 No offense, but I would still like to call it CBS Television City in Hollywood and I still refuse to call it The Bob Barker Studios

  • From the Bob Barker Studio, it's Wheeeeeeeeeel of Fortune.

  • Did PYL and Y&R share the same studio?

  • I miss Charlie O!!!! RIP!!!!

  • @wrikent5500 He was also the host of Tnn's Top Card after Jim Caldwell left the show.

  • Across from Studio 33 is Studio 43, the home of "Press Your Luck" for a few years. PYL was also in 33 for a few times. You can tell which episodes of PYL you are watching by the audience.

  • @Wolfman12395 I heard that ABC did not want Daytime Wheel but I heard that Monopoly was considered for ABC Daytime in the late 80s. Daytime Wheel would have been a good compliment to it.
