Oh I see what you meant, the one that stalled wasn't a Rubicon, so it has the 2.72 low.

If you understand how to drive a stanard, not just know how to but actually understand where the clutch starts to grab you can easily stop midway on a rocky hill like that with out brakes and start back up with just the clutch. I think wheeling is more fun with a standard b/c it brings a whole new set of skills to the experience.

Sweet video, we need more of the 2 door videos and my 2010 jk sport will idle up hills until it stops and just spins the tires so I know a rubi would mine also has 32inch tires and it's stock with flowmaster exhaust

@MattRT91 sorry nvm my bad

I have been trying to find out if a jeep (maybe a rubicon with a manual tranny) will idle up a hill without stalling if it is in 4 Lo. The only sticks I have driven are a 1974 VW camper and a saturn ion with a 4 banger, both stall very easily and I don't know if I could handle the same manners in an offroad vehicle, it would piss me off!!! lol
that's a tj dude

@MattRT91 - guessing you didn't watch the video. Only the first rig is a TJ, all the rest are JK's :P

why not just put it in to 4L and let it crawl up?

They are all in 4L... But not all are Rubi's- Rubi's have the 4:1 t-case

@N2rock All Rubicons do come with 4 to 1 low range and 4.10 gears from the factory.

@CumminsISX That's what I said... But not all the rigs in that video are Rubicons.
