A great Hollywood director Billy Wilder tested the limits in the early 60's and this film was condemned at the time. Now it seems tame. Dean Martin is very fine in the film but the surprise is the performance of lovely Kim Novak. Mr.Martin called Kim "the tops". Wilder who worked with Claudette Colbert, Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, Shirley MacLaine, Paula Prentiss, Barbara Stanwyck, Ginger Rogers, and Jean Arthur et al named Audrey Hepburn and Novak as his two favorite stars
