This thing sucks... Got the usb device not recognized.... so now im bricked. i saved EVERYTHING to there because the box said it was easy to use for backup.. well how do i backup if its not working...

i don't need a usb or power supply.i got an Hp Pavilion Elite with a 2 Hp's media drive slots yay.Too bad they took it out of the new Hp Pc's which sucks.

Seriously 18716 people need to know how to take it out of the box ? Holy shit ! If you need a video on how to do this . I hope you plan on using it as a paper weight . I will put a video up soon on how to use a paper weight .

what the fuck? why are you showing people what the inside of a box looks like? when you said "unboxing" i expected you to swap the internal 80gb of your computer with the one from the hp thing...you might want to be more specific...

@sonia1234321 You shoudnt have bought a new one, my girlfriend just dropped hers and i simply took the HDD out and connected it straight to my computer.

I came upon your video.
I really need help.
I dropped my HP Peronsal Media Drive on the floor.
Now, it is NOT working.
Is there a way to fix it?

Ahh, the same happened to me. I just called HP support and they sent me a new one! Unfortunately, I did lose all of my previous information stored on the broken drive :(
