"Hold my hand!" I snarled through my teeth. The two inch fangs placed in my mouth were shortening out into normal teeth.

"God damn Joe, chill." Camilla said, fixing the wind breaker in position for the fifth time. "Its not like Im going to face them looking like this"she said pointing to herself. Her medium lengthed night-hair fell down onto her shoulders, emphasizing her silver eyes. She was changing form hastily- as were the others. "See," she said pointing to her now dark brown colored in eyes.

A guy with cropped black hair almost the same height as me came up besides her and held her hand. "She can hold mines," Drew said staring at me coldly with his dark eyes. "After all, she is my sister."

I looked over at Zac as he nodded with approval. "Its for the best. The circle would hold longer and be stronger."

Eight bodies including mine were standing in a circle around an 8 foot stone angel. The stone engraved its face in exact form, showing the irrelevant details exquisitely.

Too bad no one noticed them. Cause if they did, theyd know that this was no average stone angel. It was the Demon. In other words, the gateway to Hell.

Oh Im sure were all familiar with that.

It wasnt just anywhere. This was the only cemetery on the outskirts of town near the ocean, and the statue layed far off from all the other grave markers and lions. It was surrounded by a ring of eight stones, which were surrounded by the dead autumn trees with their dark trunks.

"Okay, Nick, Kevin, Camilla, Drew, Ashley, Aj, and Zac, step onto your stones. Hold your hands and begin to recite the oath exactly how the elders told us to. We need-"

AJ giggled, "Were going to spend time with these mortal freaks."

"You say that like its a good thing," Nick snapped at her.

She smirked. "You can never be sure."

My mind was going ballistic. "LISTEN THE FUCK UP! Unless you want a fully grown demon in the woods right now, you better hold onto each other and begin the damn prophecy. Were here to complete a task for the Council and were going to complete it God Dammit! "

Ashley gasped as she stared into my eyes. "Joe your eyes- their-"

"Theyre what?!"

"Youve begun the stage of -of"

"Shut up!" I said ignoring her. I looked up at Zac and motioned for him to start.

His sapphire eyes resembled those of the bottom of the ocean, full with concern and ready to strike anytime, anywhere when necessary. His look of concern quickly disappeared. "Okay well first off, remember the rul-"

"We know Zac." Ashley said as she played with her brown hair. "No falling in love-"

"Why is it that thats the first one that always comes into your mind?" Kevin asked, not showing any sign of being amused.

Ashley giggled. "I cant resist the cute ones," she said winking. "It never mentioned anything about lust."

Nick smirked.

"Can we please start?" I asked. "The school starts in a few minutes and we have to blend in. Arriving late wont help us."

"Right," Zac said speaking up. Lets begin.
