This is a fairly simple guide on how to get album artwork from the iTunes Store (for free) for almost all of the music in your iTunes library, whether it be from Limewire, a friend, or a CD.

All you really have to do is make sure the song name, artist, and album name of any particular song matches its counterpart in the iTunes store. Simple cross-reference stuff.

I do not own the copyrights to, nor do I claim the music in this video to be of my own creation. It's just some background music. Jesus.

  • if anyone is having problems just ask me any questions i have my own tutorial which is very easy /watch?v=gh0a0JhS5ME hope this helps and it is for mac and pc users it doesnt matter

Your tutorial is harder than it needs to be.

What you should actually do is go onto the iTunes store to make sure the artist/album/song name is correct, and then get a vector image of the album directly from iTunes. Your tutorial uses a 300x300 image which will be pixelated on an iPad or a computer in coverflow mode. My tutorial ensures that the album quality is always high as well as saves you the hassle of finding album art again if you use Home Sharing to export songs.

  • @youR3tard quite true but i just got used to my method and i have always used it

  • @xXIFInGaBoArDaXx

Yes I use your method to get artwork for mixtapes and other music that iTunes doesn't carry.

  • Do you Know how to make a picture if there is no picture for the artist ?

  • @xXEStSidEXx

Yeah, in that box that shows album artwork, it will be blank and say something like "drag album artwork here."

If song you want music for isn't on iTunes, you can just go online, grab and image, and drag/drop it into that little square.
