Your tutorial is harder than it needs to be.
What you should actually do is go onto the iTunes store to make sure the artist/album/song name is correct, and then get a vector image of the album directly from iTunes. Your tutorial uses a 300x300 image which will be pixelated on an iPad or a computer in coverflow mode. My tutorial ensures that the album quality is always high as well as saves you the hassle of finding album art again if you use Home Sharing to export songs.

Yes I use your method to get artwork for mixtapes and other music that iTunes doesn't carry.

Yeah, in that box that shows album artwork, it will be blank and say something like "drag album artwork here."
If song you want music for isn't on iTunes, you can just go online, grab and image, and drag/drop it into that little square.
