They had way more evidence on him I think he still would have been convicted.

I don't think she is a murder but talk about no class

@wordwistful That was typed by something so confused it doesn't know whether to scratch its watch or wind its ass.

@wordwistful Speaking of "threatened" and "insecure". It isn't my fault you have dick envy, wishful. Take your aggression out on someone else. ;-)

@eg135687 : The appellate judges disagreed with you and said there wasn't much evidence at all. Read their decision and you'll know more.
-
@Kyros :The appellate court of three judges unanimously disagreed with you. They called it thin and "hardly overwhelming," which in judge-speak means, "WTF were you thinking you dimwit judge!"
-
@eg135687 : I also wonder why the policy was still in effect since both of them had said to cancel it and requested a refund, especially since she canceled it and she'd paid for it. Why did the insurance pay it out then? Something fishy about all of that, and it shows Kent Leppink to be a smarmy money chaser. There was a $100,000.00 or $150,000.00 policy on her life too, but no one talks about that.

@eg135687 : The insurance agent tesitifed Kent Leppink tried to cancel the policy to get the refund a week or two before she did. She paid for it because he was broke and he was supposed to pay her back, since he wanted it in the first place like the rest of his family all had million dollar policies on each other. If she paid for it, then wasn't he trying to steal her money when he asked for the refund while she was out of the state?

@Kyros : This is how you spend your time, being all icky and scary hateful, with your small penis-woman hating going on, and you call someone else insecure and threatened? ROTFL!
Just proves the power of the pussy. Men have been gulible over time to its overpowering effect and are sometimes helpless to defend themselves, I think men are stupid for giving out money to strippers

There are so many elements about this case that bother me.If Kent Lappink was really concerned about being murdered by Hughes,Carlin,and/or Hilke, why would he go to Hope to hunt down Hughes? How was it that Lappinks's parents didn't read the letter that pointed to his murderer's until one day after being notified of his death?C'mon.Wouldn't the parents of a very troubled son have ripped open that letter in earnest as soon as they received the letter?I think that Kent was gay.
