Here's a demo of the ToneShaper, a switching system for Stratocasters. The Guitar is a Fender licensed parts guitar with a 50's Ri neck and a 60's Ri body with Seymour Duncan Custom Shop pickups. I played into a deluxe reverb amp .
The ToneShaper is available from AcmeGuitarWorks.com

  • Is it possible to set it up for say a blend-scenario and drill a hole for a mini-switch to turn on the series/parallel function so you didn't have to manually switch between the two functions?

  • @rancidalika probably best to contact George at Toneshapers to get the answer to that

  • This is a great idea, and increased my knowledge of the strat. I really like the additional options made available, I'm a bit hesitant regarding routing the body but really like the easy access options capability. I'd like to have a couple preset options available (one or two switches on the pickguard) then I could switch to my favorite settings while playing - Very Cool -

  • Great video .

    Thanks.

  • eh, alright. Regardless of the answer to my question, I'm still getting this thing in the future for the Strat I'm building from parts

  • @goldensleeves Leo Fender liked it because he thought you could get more bright from the treble strings the closer those magnets was to the bridge. Its the best of both worlds so to speak.

  • This is a cool demo! Learned a lot. Why is the bridge pickup of a stratocaster angled but the other two pickups parallel?

  • gonna check out that out this week ...thanks for the review boss

  • @francisco444 yea i kno. its all good tho. i actually just got a custom made fender replacement body from warmoth . com and it gives you the option to have access to your electronics like in the video or in a gibson. i got the rear out configure and it works a hell of a lot better thn taking off your faceplate, plus i got ma fender body chambered which gives me a whole lot more sustain and better harmonics, and it makes ma 69's come to life. thnx for the tip tho
