Avocado can be really dangerous for dogs. Some avocado varieties contain a substance that's toxic for dogs. The glossy coat may come from the dogs rolling in sqashed avocados :D

However wonderful it sounds to chop your own nuts up, I'm afraid I'd find it rather bitter, in contrast to the implied sensation of relishment. The surgery the mango got, after the suggested maltreatment of my own nuts, is also something I find hard to swallow.
