  • I'm 20 and all my wisdom teeth have erupted and I've never felt pain with then before. Is it likely they will not need taking out or could they cause pain later in life?

  • @Renjikicksass

Hi. Depending on how well you can keep them clean, they may stay healthy. But for most people it is a very difficult area to access so decay and gum disease around them is quite common and often requires extraction at later time.

  • Hi, my doctor says that my wisdom teeth will not be able to fit in mouth mouth altogether, so what kind of anestesia would they use on me? im 13 and they said it is almost right under the surface, so i know they will come up anytime soon.

  • @haileyjnblogs

IV sedation is the best form of anesthesia for wisdom teeth extraction

  • wow can you get swelling and infection if the tooth isn't impacted and is just making it's way through the gum? i'm 20 and for the last 4-5 months have had swelling from my bottom left wisdom tooth witch is visible but this time it's swollen up the gum around my second molor has also swelled and my dentist put me on amoxicillan witch i assume is for an infection, but is it possible for the tooth to come through fine even with some swelling and infection i really don't want an extraction lol

  • @WhatWhatChick666

    Hi

yes, infection is very common with wisdom teeth in general because it is difficult to keep them plaque-free. The best treatment option for long term health is removing them so you can access the area for better hygiene.
