@leykisfan1 Actually State Atty General Katherine Harris was required by Fla law to certify the election by a set certain date which she did as she was bound to do. Fla State Supreme Court misinterpreted the law overturning her decision which was eventually corrected by the Supreme Court of the United States. I know you idiots don't care about law but Al Gore apparently did. Thus he conceded the election, rightly so. Dumbass.

@prrolg really we got more votes and by all accounts had the recount not been suspended by the board of elections (ran by bush campaign manager) we would have had the electoral votes as well. So really, we didn't lose. GWB, the first appointed president in US history.

Did Keith Olbermann write this song? Or was it Rachel Maddow?

Great video. Bush will go down as the WORST president in history. The middle class and lower class Americans who were silly enough to vote for this man better think 2'ce b/4 putting his cousin McSame in office. If you think you're hurting NOW, just wait until McCain shows you he's more of the SAME.

Yall lost the election. Guess you didn't want to lose any WORSE!

Well, it's not a standard TV ad. But Martin Delray had a couple of hits in the 80's or 90's. So, it's not bs, but it's not a :30 second campaign ad.
Im calling BS on this being a 2000 ad. (besides it is too long for a commercial)

You can tell it is a 2000 ad because it says in small print at the end 'paid for by the Democratic National Committee'. If it were made recently, it would have to say 'I'm so-and-so and I approve this message' or the creator would have to be more prominently announced because campaign finance laws changed in 2002 to require that.
