Nikon D40 - First Shots |HD|

Just tried out the Nikon D40 with an 18-55 and a 55-200 VR zoom lens. Both lenses are Nikkor brand.

I highly recommenced this camera to anybody wanting to get into DSLR's or just photography in general because of it's functionality at a decent price.

Hey those are some great pictures dude, I got the same camera and i'm buying the 55-200mm lens as well today. Doesn't have the VR on it though. Great pictures with a great camera, Keep it up.

This camera is ideal if you are just looking for a first DSLR Camera..

However a more serious shooter would be advised to spend a bit more cash

Yeah definitely. It's great for the price though. You can still manage to get those artistic looking DSLR pictures with this camera after some practice.

Thanks, i just checked out your flickr photos there awesome i specially like the guitar hero and the drums that picture kicks ass. I will have to set up a flickr account soon. I need do some more photography iv'e been a bit lazy.
