@lukelebeau95 skim usa competitions, make a video, email a board company, but proving your self in winning some competitions would do the trick. if you come in first in semi pro you have the option of becoming pro. go to skimusa.org

Any good spots for a beginner in newport? I was thinking like the alphabet streets but I have no idea haha.

@FrizBeats I would try Balboa pier (A Street). If the slope is too steep you can walk further north until it flattens out a little.
