In reading some of these posts, a lot of you cats don't understand house music. It's a spiritual thang, a body thang, a soul thang. And this is indeed house music.

Well, youre wrong, this is deep house, a subgenre of house. check wikipedia/Deep_house
I hope you dont believe that house is the electro/dance that has emerged the last few years ala. David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, etc? As for lounge music, lounge music could be anything from acid jazz and jazz-hop, to deep house and chill-out, and is thus more a definition on how music can be used. As a genre it is too wide to have any musical definition, and therefore is not a genre.
