  • Thinking-atheist, you made a ridiculous straw-man near the end about people who are concerned about global warming thinking humans are a plague and should all die. What utter nonsense!

I'm disappointed in your irrational knee jerk reaction and illogical thinking on this topic.

  • @dlandon2000 Many have that mindset. Certainly not all, but I've met quite a few. I think it has merit. Now go plug in the Prius and blow hemp smoke at photos of the Exxon logo. It'll make you feel better.

  • @TheThinkingAtheist So, you're saying that the antinatalist position DOES have merit?

I am strongly antinatalist, support tough birth control laws to bring world pop back down to maybe 1 billion, tops, but not 0.

We anti-natalists fight for OUR right to free speech just as much as atheists do, or homosexuals, or secular humanists.

  • @dlandon2000 Agreed.

  • In comparison to global warming deniers, he has the better arguments on his side.

  • After declaring that the more educated people become the less likely they are to believe nonsense, Shermer demonizes "Truthers", calling them ridiculous & labeling them under a blanket definition, because they realize that the "official" story is false, as stated by the chief counsel of the 9-11 Commission, John Farmer, who said that the official story is almost entirely untrue. Shermer shows the "power of conspiratorial thinking" reinforced by gov't authority. Conformity Whore.

  • @dlandon2000

Dont even know who DlandonCole is eh?

Something tells me you're not being honest

  • @sonykroket No idea who "DLandonCole" is.

I agree islam is the most dangerous of the major religions and have spoken out against it many times.

Islam hasn't had the benefit of influence from secular morality that christianity has had. That's why christianity, while still delusional and disruptive, isn't nearly as violent as islam (in general).

  • @CrossTheGrigori

I dont even know or care who you are but ok

  • @dlandon2000

    As in the DLandonCole?

If that's you, I've seen some of your stuff. You claim to be an atheist but turn a blind eye towards islam. Funny, as it's the most dangerous fairytale at this moment.

Very selective there, me ole policor muppet

Or do you have a hidden agenda

  • @dlandon2000

Are you denying people cause their own problems?
