Mona vs East Kentwood 2005 HS Hockey

A trip down memory lane. For EK Hockey fans I thought it be fun to post these EK game highlights on youtube. Mona Shores vs East Kentwood the 2004/2005 season. The biggest HS Hockey rivalry on this side of the State. High School Hockey at its very best. The Sailors announcers predicted A victory for Mona, by the end of the game they wished they could have taken that prediction back. EK beat Mona twice that season and in reality out-right won the O-K conference title and was the State runner up in divison 1 that season.
The players, coaches and parents all put the team first that season and that's rare in this day and age. JP #3 is my son, he started playing hockey at the age of five. Playing on that EK team in the 2004/2005 season is what playing sports is all about.
Who knows, maybe one day I'll even post the Grover party highlights on youtube. lol
