This hurricane has the biggest EVER recorded wave spawning, the tallest wave recorded at over 91 feet and 600 miles long, for referrence, Hurrican Katrina only had a wave height of around 15 ft. Hurricanes are rated by different pathes, waves height, destruction, death toll, category and so on, but this one took the cake for wave height.

I think Hurricane Ivan in Grenada was kind of like Hurricane Marilyn in 1995 in the Virgin Islands. Both places got every bit of the peak winds in the hurricane, or perhaps both hurricanes were underrated.

dude i was in the worst of hurricane andrew back in 1992... atleast u guys were able to watch the storm we were running all through the house room to room as the roof pealed away n the side wall of the house came in... and it was a solid concrete wall... it was the worst thing i have ever been through in my life... the winds we had in neighborhood was 165mph... highest gust recorded 3 blocks from us was 198mph so imagin the destrustion and debris there was everywhere

These guys are brave, technically, in the interest of safety, they shouldn't have been near the windows. Good footage though.
