  • I wish my soldering iron could make that noise when i use it. 2:54

  • I built one and it worked beautifully. My second didnt. I had crossed the winding pair on it so a re wrap, and it worked as well 8-)

One thing I found right off the bat, i could not get just any wire to work on the toroid. I eventually gave up and bought a roll of enameled transformer solid core wire. That made all the difference with just 10 windings.

  • will this work with a PNP?

  • @AlBarathur

Exactly so. It is just ordinary oscillator with transformer.

  • All lies, tried, didn't work, crap!

  • Just a reminder as you are transforming the battery voltage into a higher voltage, the current consumption from the battery increases as well, which basically means, yes, you can use 1,5 v battery to do the job of 2x 1,5v batteries (3v) but the battery will die also double speed at least. Still this is a pretty cool project, I just wanted to remind people that you cant make energy out of nowhere, and 1 battery cannot replace 2 for the same amount of time. Thanks for the video. I like it.

Try and build a magnetic generator

Go to Google - and Search for ...

    "Top Magnetic Generator"

  • @leoblaster101 If its a bar it's not a torroid.

  • @1point61803 Yes and no. Wikipedia.

  • if you used a full battery, will it short out the device? or will it work fine?
