  • always run a trygon prime/ lictor combo to deep strike behind my enemy . everyone freeks when they are in between a swarm and a trygon. usually play 1500 points tops. but for larger points i would just add more elites and trygons, maybe consider a mawlock/lictor combo for fun.

  • @Astrocyte07 I was going to try a similar build to see how players react

  • Yea man its been forever almost a whole year, I miss the ice nids and the terrain. Come on get a buzz!

  • @ThePatapon13 get a buzz?

  • Good to see you again bud, its been a millennium! What ever happened to that necromunda terrain you scored? did it ever see any action?

  • @minitzonthesun I still have it I played a game or two on it. It turns out to play a real game of 40k you need a lot of other terrain cause they way it was built its hard to get models up to the upper levels. I did play a kill team game on it and that was tons of fun.

  • re. troop heavy army. I have tried this list with about id say 3 squads of 32 hormoguants and 2 squads of 12 genestealers. first of all you need to have alot of synapse creatures. if theey're outta range they will fuck up. btw broodlord should be with the stealers throughout the battle. the actual army basics is to just rush up and go into hand to hand combat, but alot of ur troops will get gunned down before hand. i would rather play with 2 fexes and medium troops that no fex and heaps of troop

  • Good to hear from you again...Congratz on your engagement...Hope you get a chance to get back into minatures and terrain projects...sounds like you still have plenty on your plate in getting married, finding a home and moving...best of luck on all that is going on...Jim.

  • @Shiznaft1 the clicking is me messing with a pencil hitting the desk haha it really is loud. I didnt make it to Tibet but being away for quite a while makes you feel really out of the loop

  • I have been running my nids with two tryranid primes as my HQ and it has worked very well, one with a large squad of warriors that benefit from alfa-warrior the high BS and WS of the prime, i run the other prime in a full squad of poisoned hormigaunts. I always go with the bone swords because i usually play against space marines and necrons, and i must say i get the instant death often. Also i save a lot of points by taking the prime HQ so i can squeez in more troops. I also

  • Tyranids are not bad, but are limited in the number of competitive builds. If you don't care about that, then you can pretty much do whatever and enjoy them.

  • Holy crap!? He's back.... so how was Tibet? Congrats on the engagement! Dude? what is the clicking in the audio?
