Part 2 contains the first two bosses of Stage 8. The third one doesn't even fight back. I mean, a huge brain with huge eyes should have been able to counterattack...

Well, this ends the Boss Rush. Once again, I show my aggressiveness here, and the first boss, with a few tries, fell easily to my pressure. The second boss is easily the most difficult. What really gave me trouble, though, was the walkers. Destroying them almost always results in a suicide bellet, and they'll usually get you if there's a clear path to your ship. At least you won't have to worry about the boss itself, though, as long as you stay close to the barriers and cores.

Anyway, enjoy the video, and my new intro is in it, too. :)

  • the last boss should be the hardest,not a f+cking defenseless brain

  • Well, that's kind of what the Gradius series is known for. There were some exceptions where the boss was really hard, like in Salamander 2.

  • Oh the memories I had with this game. The countless deaths I had and time spent just trying to learn the patterns of the bosses.

  • Youd think after a while the bad guys would figure out to not make their Big Cores with big vulernable blue spots. Or at least build them out of the same indestructable materials that the rest of the cores are made of.

    in my opinion the difficulty should be this:2 first bosses easy (especially the 1st boss),2 last bosses hard (especially the last one)

    If so, then you're just trying to keep the same old game format and not open to new concepts.

    Then again, gradius isn't very new anyways...
