On Thursday, February 18, 2010, historian and author Tom Woods spoke on "When All Else Fails: Nullification and State Resistance to Federal Tyranny" as part of Campaign for Liberty's activities at the 2010 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Writer and radio host Jack Hunter ("The Southern Avenger") introduced Tom.
A brief Q&A session followed the presentation.
@libertarianjury everything you mentioned is not necessary; where in the history of nullification has any of what you mentioned been a necessary component? Where is nullification in California's cannabis laws using any of what you mentioned today? Gay marriage laws? Its all about the state legislature. That's all that needs to stand up to the feds to make them cry chicken.

No discussion of how you actually get the people to nullify the courts. No discussion of actual strategy. No mention of the Fully Informed Jury Association, not even mention of juries. Reliance on State legislatures. Brilliant, but woefully incomplete.
