Ironically, Ted Cassidy HATED the stereotype of the tall, silent, sometimes dumb, henchman or butler, whatever. He had harsh words for Richard Kiel as " Jaws ", a Bond villain, for instance.

Grundy is a little more stout and has more muscle mass but most likely just as strong if not stronger than Lurch.

Yeah but all and all they're very close in appearance.

In some cases Grundy was tall.

I'm surprised Batman didn't think Lurch WAS Grundy. :P
