I've seen many shops in my day. I can see the pixels on this bitch. Fake and Gay.
-
And a few seconds later he was pulled over for reckless flying . . .
Great work!

Its fake! Snow speeders only are found in snowy regions!!!
-
I'm glad to see that you remembered to give the speeder a shadow. A lot of people that I've seen on YouTube that do these types of videos forget that one small - but important - fact.
-
@jmking222010 it isnt going vertical it is going steeply up
-
well done dude, but it looked like when it pulled up it looked a bit awkward for some reason.
-
yo, the speeder couldn't go vertical like that
-
I love it I want one!!

I used some 3d pre-made clipart with its scale adapted to real world scale, so i thought it would really match. In this render the snowspeeder is about 2 car's witdh

Yaume, awesome use of chroma keying. If you don't mind my asking, what software did you use, if you don't mind my asking? Otherwise, brilliant.

That's no chroma keying, i used an extra alpha channel in the snowspeeder rendered anim, so when i overlay it over the real video it looks ok, even with motion blur.

what progs you using to do these (I think you did the helicopter one)... anyways, you got some talent :)

I did the 3d render using 3dS max5 and i simply added it on premiere using two rendered videos: the ship you see and the alpha channel separately.
The tricky part is trying to imitate the real camera's rotation and the 3ds camera one, and then correcting the hand shake movements via premiere.
I also used non-rendered materials for hidding the ship before it appears, and a material that is not rendered but receives shadows anyway for the ground.
