  • @Homaz You really never know with midi (Cubase in this case)

Midi can add "tricks" and stuff that you impossible can do live.

I never trust a midi demonstration of any keyboard!

Learned it from the old Roland G-1000 days where they did some great sound shaping on the demos - which was truly not accesable without midi.

Now that is to cheat your costumers.

Let's hope yamaha know better than this :)

I'm looking forward to next generation - hopefully with some new extended style editor! ;)

  • This is not the true sound of the Tyros 4, is it? O_O

  • The Jupiter 80 puts this thing to same. Yamaha Tyros is over priced for

what you are getting in a 64key little thing cheap plastic. The sequencer is

weird and slow to work work on multi track because the way yopu have to do it.

I had a CVP-Clavinova and got rid of that. Motif XF8 would be the only Yamaha

I would buy and maybe if they come out with a new Motif. But for now

the Jupiter 80 has the best sound and then the Kronos.

  • @alphasxsignal this is an arranger not a synth

  • damn that must be awesome to to

  • @MetalicaMaidenPriest I like the strings and other new super natural sounds on the

    Jupiter 80 better.

  • I think the strings are better on the Jupiter 80.

  • I think the strings are better on the Jupiter 80.

  • @alphasxsignal It's called the musical instrument digital interface, and its been around since the 1980s

  • How does this sound compare to the soundsonline sounds of Orchestra Hall

intruments. I wish a company would come out with a keyboard that had a

pc built-in too so they could play the software sound package like these highend

ones on that site. Those are used for film scores etc. Come on Yamaha be the

first to think out of the box and beat everyone to it. That would be a game changer.
