I think you should redo this test. You booted up in safe mode and removed it using the on-demand scanner of Superantispyware, and Zemana. I'm positive that Emsisoft's scanner would have caught it.

@Alanon202 yes i will redo the test i test programs in more detail now but still i would have liked the ransomware to be blocked

You should have tried restarting the computer before you ended the review. If you didn't notice a Mamutu pop up showed up at the same time as the ransom screen. If the ransomware was blocked from adding a start up entry the computer might be usable again on restart.

@metalshaun yes but the mamutu behavior blocker doesnt automatically block you have to decide yourself so any way it wouldnt make a point i couldnt get to the alert

What about Emsisoft Anti-Malware Version # 6 Beta? Would version # 6 Beta work again this ramsonware?

@TheBuckbull Cool, then. :) Btw, I like the new, more detailed approach. Maybe you could get your hands on the new beta 6, they say they've redesigned it so it's up to "450% faster" than v. 5!

@kitjai888 Mbam is just another layer of security, you should never just use mbam instead have a good antivirus and have mbam along with it.
