This is just a quick look at what I do to remove the excess cane after shaping. The sandpaper I use is of a fine grit.

  • Yeah, I'm switching between a -1 and a Sara. Both are pretty similar to the mack

  • Both good tips! With the Adam Shaper tips I find the quality very up and down ever since Jean Landa sold the company. Maybe things have changed, always worth another shot.

  • what shape are you using in this?

  • I'm using a Mack + tied at 73 on a 47mm staple. Everyone shapes a little differently so your tying length can differ slightly.
