Your all tripping now, she's good. But I sense some 'thirstiness'.

I was listening to Class Actress, and made me think about Dessa. D's def on another level but liked the fact that CA uses ole school beats and thought it might be something D could do to use her talents but also hit a scene that is becoming more mainstream. I hate music that's played out but if they don't make money then we won't ever hear from them again. So to me I'd rather hear a few MS songs if it keeps the artist going. Just would hate to see her talents not recognized as they should be.

@psilogen,Mybad if you thought I disliked MSP, I actually loved it,just grew up in the South.If it wasn't for MSP I wouldn't know anything about good music/art.Also learned a lot about the differences in culture and am glad I had the chance to see a different side to life.If anything I was giving MSP props for producing real musicians.My thing is they just have a harder time marketing themselves being in an area that expects/hears such great music.But the hip-hop scene is unique/good.

@BigTuna24241 the only true problem with MSP is the weather, bro. There's plenty of folks who make it work out here; don't blame geography for mediocrity.

her voice is just as lovely as the bittersweet lyrics she calmly relates to the listener.

@MaudSmith Haha, you too? xD

@BigTuna24241 Hope she keeps it up, too good to stop. At least to the people that matter. Pete, I'm more like Boston George, my best friend that passed was the BIG TUNA!! AKA BUTTER!! Just keeping his memory alive! Thanks for the insight!

@PeteGK08 Sweet, it makes so much more sense now. I appreciate it. Sounds like she really has her head on straight, hope she makes it out of MSP. When I lived up there I learned about real musicians and how there are so many amazing artists out there but most you never have heard of all because of what BS promotions or marketing they use to exploit/sellout. I guess sometimes you have to do what is necessary to get recognized but never forget your roots.

@BigTuna24241 This songs about her little brother, literally. She brings him on stage sometimes when he's at the shows.
Also, BIG TUNA!
WHAT A FUCKING MASTERPIECE, lyrically she's a fucking genius

I love her balance between words and music, it all flows so eloquintly, so simply, so amazingly.. She sings and it reminds me of my past, my little brother, my depression, this woman is amazing!
