The colorful essence of India can not only be experienced within the nation, its fragrance also spreads to several other areas in the world, where the Indian spirit has been captured and preserved in its origins. One such place is the Campbell lane in Singapore that boasts of displaying a mini India to all those who visit the place.

Particularly visited by Indian tourists in Singapore, this area is also thronged all throughout the year by the Indians staying here as well as by the Singaporeans. Campbell lane is a small lane nestled in between the Serangoon Road, the Little India thoroughfare and the North Bridge Road.

The Campbell lane truly depicts the Indian culture and traditions, through the numerous amenities housed here. This Lane has been named after the great British administrator, Sir Colin Campbell.

In the Campbell lane, one can find a wide assortment of shops; stores and stalls selling an array of items. Flowers, intricately carved wooden furniture and other wood made products; you can find all of these and much more, sold here. Indian women purchasing garlands of fresh flowers are a common sight here at the Campbell Lane. Garland makers sitting with their colorful collections of garlands are a refreshing sight to watch for all.
