pacquiao is from the visayas region in the philippines. the visayan dialects pronounce e as "i" and o as "u" hence poca being pronounced as pUca. some other common spanish loan words in the filipino languages follow this rule. words such as; ventana=bintana, bandera=bandila (r is pronounced as an L in some spanish words not only in the philippines but also in other former spanish colonies) words such as; azucar=asukal, sirve=silbe
