  • How do the corcoran boots break in and how well do the take a shine?

  • @InsertGun The boots haven't needed much of a break in, i've worn two pairs of socks the past couple days at work to avoid sores, but today just wore a single pair of light socks and had no problems, the leather is quite pliable for being new boots.

I haven't tried polishing them yet, all of the leather has a good shine to it right out of the box though, almost as shiny as the toe caps, it also proved quite water resistant as i had to work in the rain for several hours in them.

  • @vxtip556 Are the Corcs molded soles or stitch soles?

  • @1stMarineCapt They are stitched on Vibram soles. I believe it is called "Goodyear Welt Construction".

  • @vxtip556 Bad soles. Better put some Atsko Welt-seal on 'em. I wouldn't recommend a stitched sole.

  • @vxtip556 thank you i will be purchasing these boots soon.
