I decided to do a short comparison between the Bates boots ive been wearing for the past year and a half to the new Corcoran Field boots i've obtain recently.
@InsertGun The boots haven't needed much of a break in, i've worn two pairs of socks the past couple days at work to avoid sores, but today just wore a single pair of light socks and had no problems, the leather is quite pliable for being new boots.
I haven't tried polishing them yet, all of the leather has a good shine to it right out of the box though, almost as shiny as the toe caps, it also proved quite water resistant as i had to work in the rain for several hours in them.
How do the corcoran boots break in and how well do the take a shine?

@vxtip556 Are the Corcs molded soles or stitch soles?

@1stMarineCapt They are stitched on Vibram soles. I believe it is called "Goodyear Welt Construction".
