Mariah's songs are a real challenge even for herself. When homage is to be paid to this woman i'll see some divas tremble..who will dare to sing songs like this and do it well? Mariah deserves more than admiration and respect for her talent and contributions to the music world Many ppl criticize her without realizing how Mariah is pulling music forward to a next level.That's sth that makes her even more amazing....:):)

it'a amazing to me how many of you comment about her voice and how she is losing or have lost it. even worse you all weigh in on her singing techniques. have you all forgotten that this woman was trained by her mom who is a classically trained singer. people be real. she is known for being one of the best vocalist ever. where are your awards, where are your recognition. leave the queen alone and appreciate how much she has given to the world and continues to.

I think everyone needs to try to sing scales from middle C and up and down again just very slowly and record yourself and listen how you sound just singing scale. This is not an easy song the begin with and factoring her tiredness, nodules, miscarriage, pressure (from crews and everything) it's a lot to take in okay. So be cool.

everyone has good or bad performances.. she`s a human ... she can't be perfect :) still... amazing voice

This is Mariah's worst performance ever. And no, it's not because she's losing/lost her voice or due to bad technique, it's because she has vocal nodules and, even though she's had them most her life, they were playing her up a lot in '08 and 09 (which was actually stated by Mariah herself in a magazing interview).

This was a little after her miscarriage. Cut her some slack. Not to mention it looks as if she can't hear herself over the music. It's actually a pretty good performance. People criticize whenever they can I swear. If she sang this a little better people would then say she lipsynced. There's just no pleasing everyone.

I am a Mariah fan and "H.A.T.E.U." is one of my favorite songs, but she was suffering so much in this performance.

well if i must b honest and i will, the performance sucked, her techniques are weaking and it shows, she is still a great voice but she needs to do more behind the scene and not doin anything live until her vocals match wat u see in front of the cam. not a hater just recognizing real singing, but i love mariah none tha less her songs are beautiful. and this one clearly is, id just rather listen to it by cd, instead of seeing her strain live.
