Oh yeah, so assuming you're an F-18 Pilot, You're an Officer right? Now, from what i know, Armed forces do not accept candidates as Officers, especially Pilots, If they cannot use good grammer and the right words. Example, Their's should really say Theres. So, what Country you flying for then?

If i had my status as a UK citizen residing in Australia, i would have joined the RAF. Unfortunatly they took it away and gave me Aussie citizenship when i turned 18.
Still cant complain, considering i was born in Australia.

@TheArmchairSoldier less than 1000 mate :(
Just more and more never ending cuts, sooner or later we'll be defending our skies with hot air balloons!

I think we have a lot less aircraft now
Harrier and Nimrod will be missed :'(

@mrscottish1993 the Apache is under the command of the army, not the airforce.

@TheArmchairSoldier Its pretty much got to happen tho, the RAF has already asked the government for a carrier full of harriers to use in libya but was turned down to save embarrassment after the defence review, there was anger then about that so surely they wont turn down bringing back harriers for 9 weeks
what about the apache longbow? it is used by the RAF

Great video, but I am sure that the Alphjet although flown by some of our allies should not be on this RAF fleet list.
Thanks for posting

@avroken The 13 Alpha Jets are not strictly RAF (although they have UK Military registration and flown by RAF airmen) but are operated by a private company called QinetiQ Ltd out of Boscombe Down airfield in Wiltshire. The jets are used for RAF test pilot training (ETPS), continuation training of fast jet aircrews and trials support activities such as photo-chase/ target training.
