i had a 2010 lincoln mkt at home overnight
i noticed that panels did not fit perfectly
i noticed it took too long to warm up in the morning - i made it to work (20 minutes) before the cabin was comfortable
it did NOT have a heated steering wheel
and this is supposed to be a perfect car, luxury, etc.,
definitely not cheap
i am beginning to ask myself, why not spend 5K more and get a mercedes

@ChocolatePoop1301 LOL I know I thought the same thing lol

@WatsDaWurd its already announced they shuttin down mercury and stayin with ford n lincoln
-
@ilikeboxing I think of Mercury as just Ford's sophisticated "because we can" group. I'll admit, even as unnecessary as the brand is, I am a pretty big fan of the Milan. But regardless of this, I don't really think Mercury is going anywhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if they officially killed it off.
-
@ilikeboxing well, really what they should do is add the Milan to the Lincoln linup and just be done with it.

WOW, FORD IS THE FUTURE. FORD IS THE FUTURE FORD IS THE FUTURE FORD IS THE FUTURE

LOL if you watch the video for MyFord and then MyLincoln you can see how they dumb down some of the descriptions. MyFord "See how you car is doing for gas" MyLincoln "Check Fuel Consumption" hahahaha

@BITTENCOX I would say being attacked by dirty old men at Ford when you go for a test drive is part of it
-
@BITTENCOX You forgot to mention quality as well.
I've been amazed by the direction that Ford and its subsidiaries have gone in the past five years starting with cars like the Escape and Fusion Hybrids; two hybrids that save a sizable amount of petroleum without sacrificing the performance you need on the highways.
It's good to see the American car is finally back, and frankly it's kicking ass.

honestly, i don't see any reason for mercury to still be around... compare the ford lineup to the mercury lineup.
The system is fantastic. But some people can not accept the fact that Ford is now the leading company in the world in terms of high technology.

+1, everybody's stuck in the 90s thinking it's Toyota when they have nothing like this.
