Lemon battery, powers light bulb, Joey's science project, 6 year old Joey (First Grade) demonstration of an electrical lemon battery. (DiscoveryJoey.com) 5 lemons, 3.5 volt led light, used copper wires and galvanized screws. Lemons produced 3.5 volts of electricity, enough to power light for a few hours, then screws became corroded by the lemon acid. Daisy chain lemons, positive negative, across the chain of lemons.
