The center guide foot for the CoverPro Cover Stitch Machine is useful in lining up and tacking down a previously sewn seam or finishing a seam with a decorative effect. It is especially useful in sportswear finishing such as around a neckband or through the seams of t-shirts for extra durability.

While this is not used in some mass manufacturing, you can find this finish in more expensive, high end sportswear as it increases the life and value of a garment. If you would like more information on t-shirt construction, check out our other videos by searching CoverPro Cover Stitch in YouTube.

You may also purchase this video which explains knitwear construction using Janome's CoverPro Cover Stitch machine and the additional attachments including the tape binding foot, center guide foot, clearview cover stitch, and hem guide foot. Ask your Janome dealer for BSCPROACC or contact us Monday through Friday 8:30AM -- 5:00PM EST, 1-800-631-0183, ext. 774

  • No. It can be used for finishing, hemming, lightweight construction and decorative effects. You are going to want a sewing machine for the construction of a pant or dress.
