This is a cover of the opening song of the anime Elfen Lied called "Lilium" (Original song composed by Kumiko Noma).

This one is a little particular compared to my other covers. I wanted to do something more than just a "piano cover" so I asked Marie (vocals) and Benoit (guitar) from Heliantha if they wanted to do a cover, and we chose this song.

So this time, it's half of the band Heliantha who's doing the cover of a non-metal Song. I know it's much different from what I've done before but it's the point of it : Doing something else than a Symphonic Metal Piano Cover for once ^_^

Hopefully, this will be the first cover of a long series of covers with other people. I'm thinking about doing Nightwish covers but also other bands or movies covers with people such as Heliantha's members, violonists, other vocalists, etc... Let's say that I'll see if I've got the time to do it.

Don't hesitate to comment on this cover.

Sorry, as usual, don't have Sheet music and this time, don't have chords, they're too complicated to be written down.

  • You should of dressed as Lucy!!! That would have made it cooler!!! Still nice video! X3

  • It's nice, but hold the note, and project it out.

  • Nice

  • oh goodness its so well done >.< i love it, i really do

    constructive criticism?

Try and push your sound more foward and not to the back of your throat:) (you remind me of Simone Simons the singer of epica[whom i love])

    and quicken your vibrato.

dont change anything else- i loved it too much:3

  • yeah this is really good! i love the films and the song

    good job!to you both

  • @KaiyuKohai I was thinking the same thing, though that's the only small thing have to complain about besides 0:50 seeming a little off key as well. Otherwise it's quite nice ;)

  • something about the vibrato with the voice seems very forced

    otherwise, it's fine

  • good version

  • Sing you this song ? You have a voice how the singer of lilium :D
