@landrover1506x6 This saw was also made and sold in europe and was fitted with a chain brake for the uk market, Chainsaw manufactures can only sell with a brake and chain catcher fitted this has been the HSE law since 1982 here in united kingdom and only been about the last 10 or so years in the usa they are now as stricked about this like we have been for decades

What;'s good good compression i seen on ebay, The compression on front cylinder 162lbs. and rear cylinder is 170lbs.

The displacement is 61cc's. I bought one of these saws brand new back in 1990. It was nothing speacial at all for power and cutting speed. But wow was it smooth! Hardly any vibration at all. I remember we bought a 610 "evil" and a little husky 50 both together. The lttle husky would easily keep up with the echo. I traded it in on a brand new 034 Super from Ron Jones power equip in Tacoma. Unfortunately the stihl got stolen and the "EVil" became famous. Should have kept it!

@BrigT262 nice little museum Ron has down there. Dont remember if he has an echo twin but I do remember a lot of nice stihls including a couple 041 G's.
