This is the Solar Sizzler from Canada. I ordered this from Solar Sizzler.com.
I added a camera tripod and used a music stand with a burner from an old stove.

My friend pilot and engineer Bill Scott build the support attachment for the burner. The burner unit is very strong and can hold a lot or weight.

The parabolic reflector or Solar Sizzler is $50 plus $25 for postage to USA.
It comes in segments that snap together and attach to a hub. It is made of very strong and thick plastic and as you can see it is very reflective. It can burn cardboard in two seconds or less.

I am not sure of the exact maximum temperature as it went almost twice the range of this thermometer!

In this video you will see the actual energy rays directed to the focal point (about 30 inches)
