This is the clip that finally made me stop watching TV news. TV news producers seem to think the viewing public has the IQ of a dung beetle and needs this kind of dross to make the news easier to understand. Wrong! News producers have the IQ of a dung beetle; the viewers do not.

Unfortunately, Vine's analysis omitted the Lib Dem share in 2003, the last time prior to 2007 in which those councils were fought, and the proper benchmark figure. Still, never mind the facts: digitised rappin' and dancin' is _far_ more important.

These explanations actually make things more difficult to understand, because your brain becomes focused on trying to work out what the heck that dance was all about, completely forgetting what happened minutes earlier.
