  • Melanie Griffith is sexy as hell.

  • There are several problems with this movie. Basically, it comes down to this: the makers of this movie took one of the greatest novels of its time and turned it into a expensive, live-action, feature-length Family Guy episode.

  • tell you something

    liberals hate this movie

thank God i`m not a liberal

  • @PrinceXSuperstar i don't know if you have or have not already but you must read that book...this film is a sad adaptation of one of the greatest literary pieces of the twentieth century!

  • Great Cast. Great Director. Shit Film.

  • I apologize for my ignorance but... is this a comedy? I was about to go the the library and check the book out. Now I'm not so sure...

  • The scene Hanks shoots his apartment's roof is awesome! A shame its not here on YouTube. LOL I always wanted to do it sometimes i didn't want people around my place! LOL

  • This movie was poorly done. Horrible.

  • . . . Morgan Freeman is woefully out of place. Basically, the movie isn't funny enough and the film's makers choose "name" stars above actors who were actually better suited for the roles.

  • I actually like BOTV. It's not a great film, by any means but it has its good points - Mayor Weiss, Maria, and Peter have several funny moments, I also like how the background characters (NY's 'elite') keep turning up everywhere. And I love the ". . . he's on the short list for the Nobel Prize, he has AIDS - you'll love him!" line. Unfortunately, Hanks is badly miscast and so is Willis, to a lesser extent. Their characters bear little resemblance to their literary inspirations. And (cont'd)
