I watched your video this morning and found it very inspirational. My son added it to his birthday wish post on facebook on causes to help raise funds for the transverse myelitis association. It made me cry. Your video is so beautiful and inspirational. Thank you!

@TransVerzE I feel you, i've been living with it for two years now and I'm finally 18
It's been a heck of a journey but i went from a chair to crutches and now im dj-ing with a cane
we all just got to stay positive.
and as far as Tramadol Baclephen, they only seemed to hurt me.
if your open minded try medicinal cannibus, it help with the muscle pains and spacticity

I'm a 21 year old college student and I was diagnosed in January of 2009. I lost sensation and motion in my arms and hands... With physical therapy I have become self-sufficient.... but I studied piano for 6 years and since I was diagnosed I've given up trying to re-learn to play again. This video just inspired me to go back and try harder. Thank you!!
thank u for making this video...i was diagnosed with TM about 5days ago ...i have 4 and 11 yr old boys and was so scared that I wouldnt be able to be an active participant in their lives ever...i am inspired

At the time Cadan was 6 and Kyle 14, they really did pull me though. Eight months down the line it snowed and I had just bought the scooter, I woke up to find the boys had made the scooter/sledge set up; things changed/I changed and stopped feeling sorry for myself. When I got the bike I was the trendiest mum around to hang out with. We go swimming, cycling, cinema; Kyle even has better wheelchair skills than me. As mum would say “the kids don’t see you as disabled”.

I have taken various med's that haven't worked, the main one I can't be without is Tramadol. I have always kept myself mentally active, I think I was fortunate in some ways to be at Uni at the time. The bike you see I the film helps me so much, I can go out on it and feel semi normal; also my knees didn't work for a long time, as soon as I got the bike I re-built the strength in them. At present I am studying for my honours and looking for work.
